Find love for all of you, especially your nerdy, quiet, slow, reserved, calm, introspective self.
We don't talk about it enough, but the introverted, nerdy, quiet and unsocial is SO important. AND so amazingly enjoyable, when we learn to enjoy our own company.
1-1 conversations, intimacy, feelings, sensations, mindfulness, yoga, meditation, birds, quiet, cuddles, candles, fireplaces, the sky, clouds floating in the wind, sunsets, trees, drawing, painting, singing, laying in the grass, being quiet together, reading a book, classical music, mindful movement, thai chi, chi gong, mountains, hiking, nature, petting an animal, board games, roleplay, 1-1 sports, creativity, creation, writing, listening, observing, research, analysis, planning, tidying, cleaning, floating in water, sauna, baths, showers, sleep, rest, cooking, a deserted beach...
You name it.
There are so many amazing things that are introverted.
And so many great minds that are introverted.
Many of them that we too rarely listen to. Shut up long enough for them to open their mouths.
In a load world, the magic of the introverted is often overlooked. Even deserted beaches are filling up with bars and music.
If we pay attention to the actions of the introvert, we might actually want to follow them. Let them lead. Help us get in contact with ourselves, this moment and our bodies.
SLOW DOWN... Take a breath. Listen. Give space to others.
